About SDA -Waza and Our Coaches

About Waza

Welcome to the home of WAZA FLO New York.

“Waza” is Japanese word that means technique. Started in Michigan in 1995, World Wide Waza is a collective of Waza Masters who share their natural way of living with others through soccer. By combining Martial Arts, Tai Chi, Yoga, and Personal Fitness Training, Creative Soccer is realized and performed with skill and mastery by soccer students world wide.  Combining fitness training, tactical and skills development, martial arts, the power of positive thinking, and knowledge of the game, we develop young players who want to compete at the highest levels.

Come experience our FLO: Fulfillment, Liberation & Oneness.  Waza is open to everyone. Please come. You are welcome!

The WAZA FLO philosophy is based on the concept of inclusion, opportunity and perseverance. WAZA club members are expected to exude a willingness to accept challenges presented in attaining individual and team success. While the WAZA player develops their soccer experiences on the field, windows of personal insight are revealed through spirited training and appropriate levels of competition. These nurtured soccer experiences help guide the WAZA player throughout their daily lives.
